I bought this for work, as I frequently spend time in a warehouse cooler (around 40 F) and also in a large freezer (in the negative 50 F range). I wear a full cold suit when I'm operating equipment in the freezer, but during my regular work I'm only in briefly and it's the cooler that I had to stay warm for. This hat is perfect for this so far, keeping my head warm without feeling like I'm too warm when I leave the colder areas for the normal temperatures of the rest of the warehouse.
